The First Family of Easterdown

Garfield’s Girls have produced the first lambs for Easterdown!

So sweet and covered in LOTS of lovely Closewool wool!  The world seems to be waking up to how special this wool is, John Lewis are now making a special Duvet from Tara’s flock.

We were worried because Garfield’s fleece is very thin and isn’t suited to living high up here in the hills. He has thrived, probably because of this most elegant coat, courtesy of and with special alterations  by the fantastic Joanna Goodey of Not Just Horses:

Looks like they have the best aspects of all of the breeds. They have their Dad’s ears but luckily, unlike Garfield,  they have LOTS of wool on those ears (built in ear-warming!).
