Sheep come to Easterdown

Tara’s two milkiest Ewes are having a holiday at Easterdown. They were ‘drying off’ anyway, their lambs are now fully on grass to eat.

Another name for Ladies Bedstraw is “Cheese Renning” – thought to be used as an alternative to rennet since Roman times. (Source 1633 Herbal)
